Cooking Matters provides their nationally recognized suite of curricula, including Cooking Matters courses and Shopping Matters workshops, technical support, training, and evaluation tools and reports to coordinate the program in our service area. |

Fort Worth Foodie promotes volunteer opportunities, and is the presenting sponsor for the annual Walter Kauffman Chef's Holiday Pantry. This event raises money to support Tarrant Area Food Bank's Cooking Matters program.

The Fort Worth Chapter of the Texas Chefs Association also helps support the Walter Kauffman Chef's Holiday Pantry. Chefs throughout Fort Worth and the surrounding metroplex donate hundreds of cakes, pies, cookies, gingerbread houses and more to the event. Vendors and other volunteers help coordinate pick up and delivery of donated items and plan the logistics of the event held at Ridgmar Mall each December. |

Interns from Texas Christian University work with the Food Bank's Nutrition Services Team to provide courses and workshops throughout the Food Bank's service area.
Additionally, nutrition and dietetic interns select to work more in depth with the Food Bank, and engage in special projects with our Cooking Matters and Community Garden programs, or other programs with a nutrition component, such as Food for Kids and the Community Kitchen. |
