Single-day Food drive by Letter Carriers

Help feed local children this summer as many families struggle to replace the meals students won't be eating at school. Donate nonperishable foods to the STAMP OUT HUNGER! Food Drive. 

Food collected in the Fort Worth Area will come to Tarrant Area Food Bank for distribution to our partner charities. In past years, over 100,000 pounds per year have been donated by generous community members.

Look for STAMP OUT HUNGER! donation bags: Our neighborhood letter carriers are making it easy for each of us to donate.  They will deliver STAMP OUT HUNGER! grocery bags during the week before the Saturday drive.  Then they will pick up our donations that we place beside our mailboxes May 11.

Kroger is offering pre-sacked donations for purchase that can be dropped into barrels at the store.

MOST NEEDED FOODS:  Canned meats and fish, canned vegetables, canned fruits, boxed and plastic- bottled juice, rice, pasta, cereals, boxed instant foods, peanut butter (no glass), baby formula, dried milk and food with pop tops for easy access by children.

A Taste of Tarrant County

A gift idea perfect for a foodie. The Mayors' Council of Tarrant County invites you to help Tarrant Area Food Bank by purchasing a keepsake cookbook with recipes from elected officials, celebrity chefs and sports figures. Available now for $20.00, all proceeds go to Tarrant Area Food Bank to help feed children in need and keep their tummies full.
