Past News from the Community Kitchen

In February 2013, Class 20 students had the honor of working with veteran White House Executive Chef Walter Scheib, who served under President and First Lady Clinton for eight years and under President and First Lady Bush for the following three years.

Chef Scheib came to town at the request of the Fort Worth Chapter of the Young Presidents Organization to present its members with a behind-the-scenes at the “White House” dinner. 

Chef Scheib guided our culinary students for two days in preparing a White House style four-course meal and plating it the night of the dinner, which was held at Tarrant Area Food Bank in the HUB meeting area of our warehouse.
