SNAP OUTREACH and OTHER AID

Helping People with Nutrition and Health Needs

In addition to providing food assistance, Tarrant Area Food Bank also helps families and individuals access public assistance programs to supplement their nutrition and protect their health.

Our SNAP/Food Stamp outreach staff are available to visit our Partner Agencies and other community sites to ensure that anyone who is eligible for public nutrition and health benefits is aware of the programs and has the opportunity to apply for these benefits.

Benefit programs such as SNAP have kept millions from falling into poverty, according to U.S. Census Bureau Supplemental Poverty Measure
