Tarrant Area Food Bank makes maximum use of its resources.
  •  With a $1.00 donation, we can provide food for 5 meals, according to the current formula provided by our parent organization, Feeding America.
  •  Of our total income, including the value of the food we handle, 97% goes to programs to stop hunger, and three percent is applied toward administrative expenses and fundraising.
  •  We increase our productivity with the help of community volunteers. They:
    • Lead food drives,
    • Inspect, sort and repack unsold food from retailers as well as donations from the community,
    • Assist with nutrition education and meals production,
    • Help with fundraising events and office work,
    • Provide technical and professional expertise and advice.
